MOVING THE COMMUNITY

In 2017, Urban Bodyweight opened in Cancun, Mexico, as the first fitness boutique offering rhythm-based functional training and indoor cycling. Urban Bodyweight soon became a community of trailblazers revolutionizing the way fitness was perceived. More than just a workout, Urban sought to promote health and wellness as a lifestyle. As a founding coach, Mauricio continued with Urban’s mission to transform fitness into a breakthrough experience.

In October 2022, the official announcement of the brand was made. By 2023, Urban Body Works opened its first location in Maitland, FL to pay homage to the first community in Cancun. Intended as a space of inclusion, diversity and acceptance, Urban Body Works is more than just a fitness boutique. Urban strives to provide a well-rounded experience, promoting fitness as a lifestyle rather than a burden. At Urban, we do not enforce metrics or competitive workouts; we believe your biggest competition is yourself. A typical Urban experience will feel like an emotional and physical breakthrough, inspiring change within. Urban Body Works is the first Cycle + Train + Flow concept in the Orlando area.
